The "Friendly" User Rules of Engagement
1. The "Las Vegas" Rule (Confidentiality)
What happens in the pilot stays in the pilot.
The Rule: Any insights, "hallucinations," or awkward AI phrasing encountered during the trial are confidential.
User Action: Participants agree not to share screenshots or AI critiques outside the designated #scoti-feedback channel.
2. The "Shield of Immunity" (Non-Punitive)
The data cannot be used against you.
The Rule: EQ scores generated during the pilot are for calibration purposes only. They are legally and procedurally decoupled from HR records, performance reviews, or promotion cycles.
User Action: Users are encouraged to communicate naturally. The goal is to "break" the AI’s logic, not to perform for it.
3. Radical Feedback (The "Brutal Honesty" Mandate)
Politeness is the enemy of a good AI.
The Rule: If SCOTi misinterprets a joke as "aggression" or misses a clear burnout signal, users must flag it immediately.
User Action: Use the "Report Inaccuracy" button on every scorecard. We value the "False Positives" more than the "Correct Hits" during this stage.
4. Zero-Retainment Privacy
The Rule: During the pilot, raw communication logs are stored for a maximum of 72 hours for debugging purposes only, after which they are purged. Only anonymized metadata (the scores) is retained for the 6-month period.
User Action: Users can request a "Data Wipe" of their specific inputs at any time during the trial.
5. The "Human-in-the-Loop" Override
The Rule: No AI-generated coaching nudge is mandatory. Users are invited to ignore SCOTi’s advice if it feels tone-deaf to the current project context.
User Action: When ignoring a nudge, users should provide a one-sentence reason (e.g., "AI missed the irony in this thread") to help calibrate the model.
The Pilot Feedback Loop (Weekly Rhythm)
To ensure the "dogfooding" is productive, participants are expected follow ththr following schedule:
Day 1- Data Sync
Forward logs or ensure SCOTi is active in the channel.T
Day 2 - Scorecard Review
Users review their private EQ Scorecards.
Day 3 - Calibration Form
Users spend 5 minutes flagging hits/misses in the calibration form.
Day 5 Team Sync
A 15-minute "Open Floor" to discuss the AI’s behavior as a group.
Pilot "Pledge" for Users
"I understand that EQ SCOTi is in a formative stage. I agree to provide honest, frequent feedback and to treat the AI's current outputs as experimental. I acknowledge that my participation helps define the ethical boundaries for the future of project management."
By participating, users are helping SCOTi establish where the line exists between helpful coaching (Green Zone) and invasive surveillance (Red Zone). You aren't just testing code; you are helping us define the "Community Standards" that will protect future employees globally.
If SCOTi tells a team they are "Unmotivated," but the team feels "Focused yet Quiet," the pilot users provide the necessary human correction. This ensures the AI is calibrated to human truth, preventing future generations of project managers from relying on a "broken mirror.
Traditional project management values "Output at all costs." By participating in EQ SCOTi Dogfood Trial, users are helping to pivot the industry toward a new ethic: "Bench Strength as a Metric." Togetehr we are defining a future where a project isn't considered "Successful" if the team’s EQ scores are in the Red.
