Refund Policy

1. The "Applied EQ" Pilot & Free Trials

  • Pilot Program (6 Months): Participants in the "Applied EQ" dogfooding pilot are not charged for the service. As such, no refunds are applicable.

  • Standard Free Trial (2 Months): No credit card is required to start the trial. At the end of the 2-month period, you will be invited to transition to a paid production service. No charges will occur unless you explicitly opt-in.

2. Subscription Cancellations

You may cancel your EQ SCOTi subscription at any time via the Service Owner's  My Account Dashboard.

  • Monthly Plans: Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. You will retain access to your Monthly Summary Reports until the cycle concludes.

  • Annual Plans: Cancellation stops the automatic renewal. Access continues until the end of the 12-month term.

3. Refund Eligibility

To maintain the sustainability of our sovereign AI infrastructure (dedicated GPU pods), we follow a strict refund policy:

  • Service Dissatisfaction: Because SCOTi relies on a "Human-in-the-loop" calibration process, we do not offer refunds for scores that do not align with your expectations. We encourage the use of the Calibration Form to refine the AI’s style.

  • Technical Failure: If the EQ SCOTi Assistant is unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours due to a failure of our internal infrastructure (excluding third-party outages like RunPod or ISP failures), a pro-rata credit will be applied to your next billing cycle.

  • The "Right to be Forgotten" Clause: If a User triggers their "Right to be Forgotten" and resigns, no partial refund is provided for that individual’s seat for the remainder of the month.

4. Exceptional Circumstances

We evaluate refund requests on a case-by-case basis for:

  • Accidental duplicate billing.

  • Failure to deactivate a project after an enrolment form was submitted (subject to timestamp verification).

5. How to Request a Refund

All requests must be submitted by the Service Owner to >> scoti+billing@aeq.services << with the subject line: REFUND REQUEST - [Project ID].
