Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the EQ SCOTi website (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Definition of Roles

To maintain the integrity of the EQ review and analysis users are categorised into the following roles. Each role carries specific access rights and ethical responsibilities:

  • Service Owner (SO): The primary account holder and "Champion" of the EQ SCOTi implementation.  The SO is responsible for high-level configuration, billing, and the appointment of Project Managers. The SO receives the Anonymised Monthly Summary but cannot access individual raw message data or private User scorecards.

  • Project Manager (PM): The lead for a specific Project workstream. The PM is responsible for providing data logs or granting channel access to SCOTi. The PM receives copies of the regular Project-Level RAG Scorecard and individualised feedback questions.  Any "Coaching Nudges" that may arise are strictly the PMs responsibility and Applied EQ Services takes no responsibility for outcomes.

  • User (Team Member): Any individual whose communications are processed by SCOTi.  Users receive copies of the regular Project-Level RAG Scorecard and their own individualised feedback questions. Users hold the power to trigger DSARs or the "Right to be Forgotten."

  • Personalised EQ SCOTi Assistant (The "Assistant"): The AI agent (powered by fine-tuned Open-Source models on RunPod) tasked with analysing correspondence and generating the EQ metrics.

3. Nature of Service

EQ SCOTi provides AI-driven emotional intelligence analytics.

  • Informational Purpose: Outputs (Scorecards, Suggestions, Observations) are strictly for professional development purposes only.

  • No Professional Advice: EQ SCOTi is not a substitute for professional HR or mental health services.

4. Use of the Site & Storyboard

  • Calibration: Feedback provided via the Storyboard feedback form becomes the property of EQ SCOTi to improve our AI models for the specific Service Owner, unless governed by a specific Pilot Agreement.

  • Prohibited Conduct: Users may not use SCOTi to harass, surveil, or intimidate.  The PM and SO agree to use the tool to foster Teamwork, to support Collaboration, and to reduce Decision Latency not in any circumstances for punitive performance reviews

5. Intellectual Property

All logic, including the EQ SCOTi RAG Scorecard design and the Maturity Quotient framework, is the intellectual property of the Applied EQ Services team.

6. Privacy & Sovereign Data Control

  • Hosting: Data is processed on private GPU pods (RunPod) to ensure Zero Third-Party Transit.

  • The "Purge" Right: Users can request the immediate destruction of their emotional data footprint at any time

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service Owner accepts full responsibility for the conduct of their PMs and the interpretation of SCOTi’s outputs. Applied EQ Services is not liable for personnel resignations or project delays.

8. Termination of Access

Violation of Ethical Boundaries (e.g., a PM using EQ SCOTi data to reprimand a User) will result in the immediate termination of the Service Agreement.
