Storyboard

Introduction

This storyboard follows a project team through a familiar real-world scenario with rising pressure and high expectations.  It serves as a test bed for EQ SCOTi to demonstrate its core strengths: tracking emotional maturity with behavioural analytics, identifying shifts in team dynamics, and providing a supportive dashboard for joint team insights & individual feedback. The Mercury Platform Project represents a high-pressure technical and consulting challenge, centred on a critical platform launch for a high-stakes client.  There are 4 members of the core delivery team (Project Manager plus Lead Developer,  Business Analyst, and UX/Design Specialist).  There are also 3 key stakeholders (the client Project Sponsor, Account Manager and PMO Director).  There is 2 weeks setup and on boarding followed by a 6 week delivery schedule.   The sale has just closed.  What could possibly go wrong?

The PMO, looking for ways to improve project performance recognises low EQ is "Transactional Friction and a "hidden tax" on project productivity. The key is track Collaborative Flow built on positive team chemistry. So he's decided to sign-up for a trial of the EQ SCOTi Assistant. He's shared the published "Corporate Values" statement and used the Calibration Form to provide SCOTi with feedback on the storyboard scenerio. He's decided to register the Mercury Platform project, for the trial after a discussion with the PM. The PM has received the welcome email from EQ SCOTi and has registered members of the project team to start receiving weekly EQ Scorecards and individual feedback. The first week of project setup is complete and EQ SCOTi has asked the PM to forward a copy of the weeks correspondence. Team correspondence from the project team has been collected from emails, video transcripts and chat logs.  It includes all the familiar textual cues that EQ SCOTi can then use to identify and analyse the EQ Scorecard applying the gold standard Goleman’s framework which is particularly effective for behavioral analytics by SCOTi with the linguistic markers for each key dimension that can be tracked in project correspondence: for Self-Awareness, Self-Regulation, Motivation, Empathy, Social Skills.

Play the videos to follow the project team as they navigate delivery alongside their EQ SCOTi Assistant. We discover that team trust can be fragile and that team chemistry is often challenged and team friction can be corrosive. The weekly EQ SCOTi Scorecards with their straight forward RAG status prove that EQ alarms precede technical failures. SCOTi assists team members with EQ awareness; lowering the friction, building velocity, and multiplying collaboration.
